Birthday

I turned 26 last Friday and for the first time in years I just lounged around at home and did nothing. The boy kept me company and in the evening, when my mum got home, we ordered Swiss Chalet and it was divine. :)

The boy gifted me the first two books of an Archie archive collection and my mum gifted me a new television for my room! We also switched out my twin bed for the double bed from the basement. I now have a big girl bed!

B&W Toronto

I don't know why, but I seem to always take photos that are slightly tilted/skewed. This happens with both digital and film and through the viewfinder they look straight enough, so I don't even know how this happens! Any explanation and/or advice on how to avoid it in future will be much appreciated!

In the meantime, here are some random black and white shots from around the city using Lomography's Lady Grey film, taken mostly around Queen east and Dundas west.

A Touch of Nature

I haven't been taking many photos lately, so I forced myself to go out to take some over the weekend. Except I picked the worst possible day because it was sweltering and I managed to get a short distance from my house before the heat got to me and I came back home, defeated.
