Beaches in Colour

Before 2008 I only vaguely knew of the Beaches. This year seems like it's going to be the year of the Beaches trips!

Here is a small collection of colour photos from (surprise!) the Beaches. 

The first ones were taken when I went there with the Boy on a terrifically hot day. I tried out the Lomography Colour Negative 100 film which is why they look like they may have been dipped in nostalgia.

The others are from last week when I met up with Merley for photo times, which were cut a bit short because I ran out of film and had failed to bring along an extra roll. Boo. I used Fuji Superia 400, which used to be my favourite until I saw the results of the Lomo film.

I recently chopped off more than 70% of my hair and have, overall, been feeling pretty good about myself (physically.) I've also taken to only shaving when I feel like it (if at all) which is amazingly liberating!
