Year End

Today, I finished my first (and possibly last) 365 Project. If you don't know, this project requires a photo a day for three hundred and sixty-five consecutive days. It sounds easy -- I know I thought it was -- but certain days it's a real chore because sometimes you don't feel like taking a fantastic photo.

Regardless, I got it done and I consider it a pretty great feat because this was the hardest year of my life and though my life/troubles have not improved as much as I hoped they would I do see change for the better, finally, and that's a pretty big deal.

I'd like to share some of my favourite shots and some shots I'm proud of from this project. They are a mix of digital, iPhone and film.

Sebastian and Company

Dorothy and I went to high school together but after first year of university we sort of just lost touch. It happens.

So, I went along to Riverdale Farm with her, her son and her husband on Saturday and took some photos while catching up. :)

Black and White Beach

I've been having some eye/head aches lately and have opted to stay away from any camera which requires the use of a viewfinder. I was all right with this until I picked up my first black and white roll and now I want nothing more than to run out and take more shots!

These were taken at The Beaches.

Christy

I met Christy in middle school, but hadn't seen her since. We "kept in touch" through Facebook and when I all but begged my Facebook friends to let me photograph them, Christy was one of only a handful who volunteered.

This is her in a mix of digital and film.
